It's been a week and so far we haven't killed each other. This is a good thing.

William declared while out back first thing this morning enjoying a little wake and bake "day off today". Dude, not sure how to tell you this but every flipping day is a day off at the moment. So instead of continuing spring cleaning, we didn't. We smoked a lot of dope, took the dogs to the dog park, had lunch, napped, smoked a lot more dope and had dinner. And now I've come to my room for the night and am here telling you all stuff you could give three shits about. But it's all good.

Last Wednesday when we were told the store was closing and we were going to have some time off, a good friend and co-worker was on her way to the hospital to deliver my new baby godson. Zefram was born on Thursday, a healthy beautiful baby boy. Mom did an amazing job. I'm so proud of her. No one other than her partner was allowed in during her hospital stay and I have yet to hold baby Z. I am so ready for that. I told Cassie (baby momma) that William and Ellen had said I was to old to be a godmother, her reply was "Your age isn't even a factor. I can't imagine anyone other than you as the baby's godmother". Can't wait to meet him when this is all over.

Still cold today. Warmer than yesterday but still cold. The wind finally took a bit of a break. Next week it's supposed to warm up. Fingers crossed.

Senior shopping hours tomorrow so I'm off with William in the morning to grab a few things. Once again it pays to be old. Overall it sucks but every now and again it has it's advantages. Maybe we'll find the ever elusive toilet paper. The anticipation is more than I can take. Not really.
