I have two half-sisters. One of them usually makes great life decisions and is very hardworking and smart. The other is absolutely insane, lives the most drama-filled life imaginable, and I just try to avoid her. 

The one who is normally smart decided that the covid vaccine was fake. She now has covid, and is in the ER right now. I really hope she is okay.

Garden Update Time!!

Not shown: Brussels Sprouts (Because the picture I took was no good) and green onions (because they straight up died)

I got the paperwork for my handicap placard today, so I will take it to the DMV on my next day off (Tuesday).  
Perks of chronic pain and being semi-crippled? Better than nothing!

To be fair, walking through the parking lot to the store has been painful enough some days that I've just skipped getting things from the store occasionally. 

Actual interaction I had with a customer today:

Customer: "You're eyes are really blue? Is that your real eye color, or contacts?"
Me: "Yes, the eyes are real!"
Customer: "oh... good..."
Me: *dies inside from the awkward, then tries to pretend that entire interaction never happened*

Today at work everyone was hella grumpy (myself, co-workers, customers -- everyone). My boss, ever prudent, bought us lunch and coffee in the hopes that we would chill out and stop yelling at the customers for being absolute fucking pieces of shit. This was successful, and very delicious. 10/10 management. If they didn't already own the company I would suggest they get a raise. 

Today we finally set up the air conditioner! Yay!

This was straight up too much for my back, so I'm gonna go put some arthritis cream on my joints that hurt (most of them) and pretend I'm a log.

BUT! I will be a cool log, which is awesome!

My Pets!


This is Muffins (and me!). She doesn't appreciate me holding her on her back and rubbing her tummy. She would kill someone for w-e-t  c-a-t  f-o-o-d (we can't say that phrase out loud, or she'll start screaming at the door)



This is Leela! She likes being dressed up, but is sad that not many clothes fit her (she's a very big girl!). She likes cuddles, being brushed, and baths. She's such a pretty girl! 




This is Roux! She can walk underneath Leela without ducking, and can run twice as fast as her! Roux likes to run fast, chew on things, and cuddle. Her middle name is "Trouble"!

Today at my eye exam it took me several minutes to figure out how old I am. 

I had to use a calculator in the end.
