It's cold outside. Colder than its been all year. The wind cuts like a knife.

Of the three of us, Ellen is working. She can work from home. To her credit she gets up every morning and does her normal routine, dresses for work and is in her makeshift office on time at her desk. And puts up with William and I walking through to the backyard for smoke breaks. Ellen doesn't smoke weed but she does smoke cigarettes so she'll join us from time to time while telling us we're a distraction. We do our best to stay out of the way and be quiet and for the most part succeed.

Decided to check out a new dog park today. It was sweet! Big .... much bigger the the normal one we go to. Tennis balls everywhere. The dogs were in heaven. But the temp dropped fast within minutes of us getting there and the wind picked up. It would of been nice to let them run a bit longer but after about 25 minutes I was ready for the heater.

Got some paperwork sorted and put away today. Something I've procrastinated on for oh, I'd say like .... forever. Now to get digging and find other paperwork needed coming up in the next few months. I don't have much but I do have paper. My life in paper. One big heaping mess of paper. Yeah.

Rain the next couple days. No excuses. Just get it done.

Did I mention I'm ready to go back to work?

Wrapped in blankets, window cracked and eyes wanting to sleep. Love me a good edible.
