Last night I made a coffee and decided to heat up a danish in the microwave. I decided on 10 seconds because I didn't want to melt my mouth off my face.

I wrapped the danish in a paper towel, placed it in the microwave. I set the microwave to 10 seconds and turned it on.

I took it out. It was cool. I took a bite. I even dipped the edge into my coffee as I walked to the couch to sit down. 

Two cats slapped each other as I sat down. I fussed and then bit into the jelly section of the danish. 

HOLY JEEZE..It burned me going all the way down my esophagus. I followed it with the only thing I had to wash it down...the coffee.


I am still in pain. 

Take this as a warning: do not trust your microwave. It turns jelly in danishes into molten lava.
