Last Man Standing

My Parents at an auction, adeptly, intentionally turned so I couldn't get their faces. 2006

My dad has been dead for 9 years and 7 months (and one day, if we are counting), I think.

He was one of the worst sorts of angry alcoholics from Alabama there could be. Definitely not THE worst sort, but he could be pretty terrible.
His dad died when he was a baby, he had a couple of step-dads (one of which was also a serious alcoholic), yet somehow, he grew up around
enough male relatives and friends or had some sort of inner compass, that he was mostly right.

He started warning me about things when I was probably too small to even be hearing it.
I chose not to believe most of it (at the time) because my life certainly would have been much duller than it is now.
He even tried to beat some of the willfulness out of me and it really did hurt him more in the long run. I am that stubborn.

His mind would be absolutely blown by this situation. He would say that he could completely see why Gov. Kemp has allowed
some business owners go back, with heavy restrictions, to work, IF THEY CHOOSE.

Kemp opened the beaches weeks ago. This man cares about the bill of rights. If you are stupid enough to go get tatted, he isn't even going to stop you.

I really don't know what all is going on behind the scenes but I know there is much more to it than we can see or fathom.
Super high death projections to make everyone stay at home? Possibly...but if they hadn't ...

Trump is doing okay in this situation...if we didn't have him as president (picture Biden, poor guy) we wouldn't get press conferences EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I don't think the stock market would even be fighting anymore. It would just be dead.

We do need to ease back into normal life, or there is no reason to exist. The sad thing, especially since I care for my visually impaired mother, is I think that we are all going to be carrying this mess around with us before it is over.

People have been tested now and found to have it on their shoes. We haven't really been protecting our shoes...so it could already be in my house, tracked in with the mud that I didn't even have a chance to notice, putting the groceries away. All over the house...
