Self-Quarantine : Am I Bored, or is this Anxiety?
3/16/2020 07:42 PM
Well, I'm definately sick with something.

My fever is up to around 100, and I've been steadily feeling worse. I can't really walk across a room without running out of breath, and some of the phlem I've been coughing up has blood in it (though just a little bit). Considering all those details, I don't feel all that bad? I'm definately tired and ache all over, but I don't feel like I'm dying or anything. I've felt worse from a cold. The specific symptoms just sound really bad.

I'm just going to keep up the self quarantiene thing until my nails turn blue or I have trouble breathing.

Disney+ is glorious. I've also played so much sims 4.

My goal once I start feeling better is to catch up on all the laundry/dishes/cleaning I've fallen so behind on.

Covid cough is very dry typically/without coughing anything up, apparently. Blood in a cough is very scary though.

Awkwardly, it turns out it was a COVID cough. It may be relevant that the only time i coughed anything up was after an ultra long shower, where the steam loosed up any phelgm I had.

But the doctor said that based on the x-rays and test results I should make a full recovery. ^_^

I thought I replied to this, but it's completely dissappeared?

Breathing is not so good. I'm short of breath and my nails turn a little blue from minor things (like walking across a room, or picking up a pitcher of water).

Also, I realized that I didn't clarify. When I talked to the doctor about my cough he said for the most part covid coughs are unproductive, but it's not crazy to cough up phelgm if you do things like take a shower. Also, I'm not 100% diagnosed with it yet, since the test STILL hasn't come back yet. I am diagnosed with a "mysterious viral lung infection" that isn't the flu, cold, or strep.
