I've been so exhausted after returning to work. I'm still having issues with breathing (but the inhaler has actually helped), and my joints are still stupid. However, I do get to see the rheumatologist again on Thursday! Woo!

Lately all I do is wake up at 8am, go to work at 8:30, come home at 5pm, eat dinner at 5:30pm, then go to bed by 7pm. I'm so exhausted I can't stay awake longer than that.

Yesterday I had to use 8 pain patches and take 4 advil before the pain eased enough for me to fall asleep. I had trouble walking, and even had trouble using the cane because I can't really grip it.

0/10, this is bullshit

Now that I've returned to working, I remember now how much I absolutely hate people.

Apparently there was rioting a few blocks away from our house last night, and we didn't know. I think it stayed pretty small.

This is a weird part of town to have riots in, usually that's downtown or by the university.

They've already shut down the area tonight because things are getting tense again.

As I mentioned in a previous post Alex and I decided to not move to Japan this year as planned due to the pandemic. We instead decided to re-visit the idea at a later date.

Although the pandemic is far from over, we decided it's time to resume planning. Initially Alex was going to graduate with his teahcing licence May 2020, and we would move in August 2020. We're still going to follow this plan, but just a year later. After going through the requirements we discovered that if he continues school and graduates May 2121 he could graduate with both his teaching licence and master's degree (yay better pay!). Also, the increased timeline will enable him to apply for the Jet program, which you have to apply for a whole year in advance!

Also, hopefully there will be a vaccine before August 2021, so travelling will be a lot safer!

I went to the doctor today because I'm still having troube breathing. They had requested the x-ray results from my ER visit back in March, and after looking at the results told me that I did have covid-19 back in March, and the results probably came back negative because of the allergy nasal sprays I have to use 3x a day. Awkward.

Since my lungs are still not recovered I have ot use an inhaler for a few weeks. They also ordered a follow-up chest x-ray.

I also got re-hired at work, and go back June 1st. Yay!

Y'all may be wondering "deeterz, where have you been?"

Well, I've been sick. My lungs are still not recovered from my "mysterious viral lung infection" and I made the mistake of pulling some weeds the other day. Unfortunately, I am allergic to everything in and around my house (I'm not kidding, I'm allergic to the trees around our house, the weeds, my pets.... all but like 5 of the 74 common allergens they tested me for).

ANYWAY, I can't fucking breathe. I've taken the maximum amount of allergy medicine I can (I'm on 3 different allergy perscriptions), and that's kinda keeping me alive. My nails are purple/blue though. I feel like I have the flu (body aches all over), my joints are at a solid 7/10 on the pain scale (which means it's enough for the pain to keep me awake and make me not want to move, but if I take an advil and apply some heat I can move. I'm not screaming from pain, and my joints can support my body weight).

I don't have a fever, and I'm not coughing. Pretty sure this isn't the 'rona. I'm like 85% sure this is allergies + my damaged lungs struggin hard.

I should see a doctor, but i'm too tired to deal with it. I see the rheumatologist on Thursday of next week, anyway.

I think you really had Corona. You just had it sooner than anyone was prepared for.
The blue fingers are a symptom of blood clots.
You need to get somewhere like at least call the health department. <3

I kinda think you're right, and I actually had corona.
I do agree the blue fingers are not good, but they and my breathing have improved in the last few days. I will discuss it with the doctor I'm going to see on Thursday, though.

It's funny how one day of depression can just keep going, and suddenly you have no idea what you've done for the last 5 days.

I'm so glad Alex is here with me.

Yesterday/last night/today I slept 20 hours. I did have a fever and a gnarly headache before falling asleep, so I guess I was kinda sick? Idk, I felt fine when i woke up.

Today I cleaned kitty's litterbox. Poor kitty desperately needed it, I haven't been able to clean it since I got sick roughly a month ago. I'd like to say I am a good human and clean it every week, but in reality it gets cleaned every other week. Regardless, today my lungs finally felt up to it, though I did have to lay down for a while afterwards.

The sourdough yeast starter we have been growing is doing exceptionally well, so I decided to bake some bread. It's rising in the oven right meow. I'll post a picture if it comes out really well
